From September 25 to October 7, 2022, CruiseCopenhagen hosted
two FAM trips, allowing cruise line executives to visit 11 Danish cruise destinations in the shoulder season.

From the 20th of August, cruise guests who go ashore in Denmark
must be aware of new requirements. The Danish Authorities now
require that all guests are tested before going ashore. This applies to
immune and vaccinated guests as well.

From June 26th, cruise guests are allowed to go ashore in Denmark. The Danish Authorities require that guests have been vaccinated with an EMA accepted vaccine

The popular amusement park, Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen Denmark is happy to announce that two pop-up Michelin restaurants will open in the Japanese Tower this summer of 2021.

More cruise guests are visiting the Danish island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea, which has just been named ‘Europe's second best holiday island’. Port of Roenne confirms the trend and ends this season with a total of 46 cruise calls.

With 1.1 million cruise guests in 2018, the cruise lines have caught Copenhagen and Denmark in the binoculars. The success puts Denmark on the world map and the CruiseCopenhagen network is honored for the efforts with the trade organization Horesta’s Tourism Award, the MARIA Award.

Copenhagen Souvenir & Design has just launched 2 new souvenir shops in Copenhagen Airport (airside) as well as 1 new shop on Strøget, and is now counting 11 shops in Copenhagen with a wide selection af high quality souvenir and Danish Design.

One of Denmark’s most popular cruise destinations and number 8 on The New York Post list of places to go in 2019, Aalborg, has decided to deliberately limit the port to a one ship port in the future. 

Port of Aarhus completed the new Omni-Terminal in mid-2018 located about 3 km from the Aarhus Cathedral and City Center.
