In September, 2019 the new metro of Copenhagen, is opening its doors with 17 new stations. The new metro will be connecting the different neighbourhoods of Copenhagen including the historical city centre making it much easier and faster to reach the various attractions all around the city.

Bjarke Ingels and his architecture firm, BIG, are world famous for their playful, experimental and innovative designs. Between June 2019 and January 2020, the Danish Architecture Center (DAC) in Copenhagen hosts the biggest ever BIG exhibition; Formgiving.

In 2019 there’s plenty happening on the city’s buzzing arts scene - everything from small experimental places to big galleries showcasing both Danish and international names. We have gathered a selection of the exhibitions below to help you plan your 2019 itineraries.

Camp Adventure is finally opening its doors to visitors who will be taken to new heights when the 900-metre-long boardwalk welcomes guests from the 31st of March. Camp Adventure’s 45-metre-high tower will offer a unique nature experience, not found anywhere else in Scandinavia.

In 2017 and 2018 we have seen a major increase in hotel capacity with the opening of Steel House, Nobis Copenhagen, Hotel Sanders, Wakeup Bernsoffsgade, The KRANE, CitizenM Copenhagen, Scandic Kødbyen, and Herman K just to mention a few. And this is only the beginning, many more to come.
