Only 40 minutes North of Copenhagen, you will find the port of Helsingor: the home of Hamlet and UNESCO World Heritage Site Kronborg Castle.
Cruise ships dock right in the city centre, close to Kronborg Castle. The cute old town centre with ancient cobbled streets and coloured houses can be explored on a guided tour. Helsingor also offers easy access to more than 30 attractions within a maximum of 30 minutes of transportation. Each summer, Kronborg Castle hosts the Shakespeare Festival with international stars portraying Prince Hamlet.
