CruiseCopenhagen receives the most important accolade in the Danish tourism industry.

In 2018, the founder of CruiseCopenhagen, Per Cilliborg Schmidt, received the Marketing Award for Raising International Awareness (MARIA) from the Danish Association of the Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Industry, HORESTA for the establishment of CruiseCopenhagen. The award is given anually to a personality who has made a remarkable effort in the marketing of Denmark internationally.

Jens Zimmer Christensen, the chairman of HORESTA, referred to CruiseCopenhagen as one of the greatest successes in the Danish tourism industry. The success of CruiseCopenhagen is due to the close collaboration between the partners of the network working together to offer a truly memorable cruise experience in Denmark.
