This year, the Nordic region’s finest chefs will gather in the Tivoli Garden’s Concert Hall for the Michelin Guide Ceremony for the Nordic countries.

To mark the occasion, the historic amusement park opens its gates to the public for a large-scale celebration of exceptional food and the chefs who bring them to life.

From May 23 in the week preceding the Michelin ceremony, Tivoli welcomes guests to the Tivoli Food Festival.

The program features a Nordic food market, masterclasses with Michelin-starred Nordic chefs, a burger festival showcasing creations by Michelin-starred chefs, exclusive Michelin dinners in the Pagoda, the Danish Championship in blind tasting, and a festival celebrating the Danish delicacy ‘smørrebrød’.

Be part of the celebration

The Michelin Awards Ceremony itself takes place on 1 June at 6:00 pm, and a food focus for the public will take centre stage the entire day in the Tivoli Gardens.

Food trucks will be serving tasty street food, while a communal tent hosts a talk and tastings during the day. In the evening, the tent transforms into a vibrant bar and music venue, and the Michelin ceremony will be streamed live at the Open Air-stage.

Guests will have the opportunity to follow the award ceremony alongside chefs and staff from Michelin-starred restaurants invited to join the celebration. Once the ceremony concludes, the festivities continue with a DJ, bar, and food.

Taste the stars all year round

A series of events throughout the year will also celebrate Danish top gastronomy.  Taste the stars is a collaboration with the City of Copenhagen, Wonderful Copenhagen, VisitDenmark, and the Food Organisation of Denmark.

The collaboration is a year-long celebration, and in the months to come, guests can look forward to Denmark's longest cake table for 800 guests in the heart of Copenhagen as well as Dining Week in October with Michelin-starred restaurants included.
