Congress Incubator

Congresses, events, and meetings can serve as a lever for greater and broader societal values, not least among academia, businesses, clusters, and citizens. 

This is why the Copenhagen Convention Bureau works closely with cluster organisations, research environments, and other key players in the design and implementation of successful congresses, events, and meetings in Copenhagen. 

Incubation of new congresses may be launched based on an idea generated by processes within Copenhagen Convention Bureau, but may also be initiated on the grounds of an idea created by others, e.g., congress-initiators, individuals etc. 

Regardless of the source, both ideation and design of new congresses require resources, expertise, systematicness, and collaboration - and not least the acknowledgement that incubation of new congresses is not a linear process. Instead, incubation requires iterations on core elements, such as purpose, design, content, execution, etc. and therefore also a framework with processes and tools that can guide the incubation. 

Copenhagen Congress Incubator works on the basis of Copenhagen Convention Bureau's existing expertise, but also applies new approaches, tools, competencies, and targeted dissemination and communication to congress-initiators, i.e., primarily cluster organisations and research environments.
