Brøchner Hotels unveils Ottilia Heritage, an exclusive grand suite collection opening in Copenhagen in 2025.

Brøchner Hotels is set to introduce Ottilia Heritage, a remarkable new chapter in luxury hospitality, opening in 2025. Nestled within Copenhagen's historic Carlsberg City District, Ottilia Heritage stands as a grand extension to the award-winning Hotel Ottilia, offering a one-of-a-kind stay where heritage and contemporary sophistication merge seamlessly.

Set in a meticulously restored 1881 landmark - the very building that once stored malted barley for the world-famous Carlsberg beer - Ottilia Heritage pays tribute to its rich past while redefining luxury hospitality. This unique retreat unfolds across 14 grand suites, ranging from 25-65 m2, each designed as an individual masterpiece of industrial elegance, contemporary minimalism, and bespoke craftsmanship.

A design concept where history takes center stage

The architectural soul of Ottilia Heritage has been carefully preserved and reinterpreted to create an intimate yet strikingly grand experience. The original vaulted ceilings, arched windows, and historic steel structures remain integral elements of the design, while custom-crafted furnishings - featuring signature Douglas wood sourced from the original building - add a tactile connection to the past. Industrial steel, raw concrete, and artistic mirrored surfaces reflect the essence of the building's legacy, while curated contemporary elements elevate the experience to refined luxury.

A stay in danish icons

As a tribute to Carlsberg's iconic legacy, Ottilia Heritage is home to Three Danish Icons - three distinct signature suites, each designed to honor a defining architectural or historical element of Carlsberg's past:

  • The Heritage Suites - Celebrating the industrial grandeur of the original building.
  • The Silo Suites - Featuring the preserved malt silos as a striking architectural centerpiece.
  • The Elephant Suite - Offering a breathtaking view of the iconic Elephant Gate, one of Carlsberg's most legendary landmarks.

Each suite is an artistic interpretation of history, blending raw industrial aesthetics with elegant design, ensuring an unparalleled stay for the discerning traveler.

An exclusive extension to Hotel Ottilia

Ottilia Heritage is more than just a collection of grand suites; it is an exclusive retreat seamlessly connected to Hotel Ottilia. Guests check in at the hotel before stepping into their private sanctuary, where a world of refined luxury awaits. While the suites offer seclusion and indulgence, guests enjoy full access to all hotel facilities and services, including:

  • An organic breakfast served in the hotel's panoramic rooftop restaurant.
  • The signature day and night bar, offering exquisite wines, signature gins, and curated cocktails.
  • A vibrant social scene, where design and community merge in spectacular common spaces.
  • 24-hour fitness facilities, ensuring wellness is always within reach.
