PRESS INVITE: Copenhagen Convention Bureau launches groundbreaking risk management toolkit at IMEX Frankfurt

The global business events industry is navigating a period of great uncertainty and accelerating change, where new challenges, evolving risks, and shifting global conditions demand an urgent change in how we manage risk when designing and delivering events.

On 20 May at IMEX Frankfurt, Copenhagen Convention Bureau will officially launch the Copenhagen Risk Navigator - International Strategies and Tools for Business Events: a structured, research-based initiative to give the business events industry both a clear picture of the current risk landscape and the practical tools to act on it.

Built on Copenhagen's 2023 Risk Assessment White Paper, the Copenhagen Risk Navigator brings together findings from a global survey of planners and suppliers and expert input from the finance, insurance, and academic sectors. It delivers two key outputs: a research report of the current risk landscape on macro and industry level and a corresponding hands-on toolkit that organisations can start using immediately, whatever their current level of risk management experience. Both the research and the toolkit have been validated by FERMA and RIMS and have been through an industry expert peer review.

This is your opportunity to be among the first to access The Copenhagen Risk Navigator and speak with the team behind it.

Date: Wednesday, 20 May 2026 Time: 10:00 - 10:30am

Location: Room Symmetrie 2, Press Center, Hall 8, Level 1, Messe Frankfurt
