STRENGTHENING RESILIENCE: Introducing the Copenhagen Risk Navigator - International Strategies and Tools for Business Events.

The global meeting industry is navigating an era of unprecedented complexity. To support our ecosystem in standing stronger and more resilience Copenhagen Convention Bureau is announcing the launch of Copenhagen Risk Navigator - International Strategies and Tools for Business Events.

Building on our 2023 Risk Assessment White Paper, the Risk Navigator initiative shifts the focus from high level awareness to better collaboration, shared responsibility, and practical application. Our objective is to provide event professionals with concrete strategies and tools to manage and mitigate modern risks effectively.

The project is a global collaboration. We are working in strategic partnership with FERMA | Federation of European Risk Management Associations and RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.) to ensure our findings are validated by world leading risk specialists.

Kit Lykketoft, Director of Congresses, Events & Sustainability at Wonderful Copenhagen, says:

"Through our partnership with FERMA and RIMS, we're proactively advancing how the global meetings industry understands and manages risk. We're genuinely excited about the launch of the Copenhagen Risk Navigator, which gives destinations and event stakeholders a far more detailed and actionable framework to identify, prioritise and implement robust mitigation and resilience strategies across every stage of the business events lifecycle."

Over the coming weeks, we will share preliminary insights and findings from our qualitative research with international experts. These insights will culminate in a comprehensive report and a practical tool set to be launched at a press conference held on 20 May at 10:00-10:30 am at IMEX Frankfurt.

Stay tuned via our Copenhagen CVB LinkedIn profile for updates as we work to build a more collaborative and secure future for international congresses and conferences.
