Copenhagen’s food and restaurant scene is still very much thriving. At yesterday’s unveiling of the 2018 Michelin Nordic guide in Copenhagen, 15 restaurants were awarded a total of 19 stars, cementing the city’s position as the destination in Scandinavia with the most Michelin stars.

The city gained two extra stars with restaurant Jordnær receiving its first Michelin star and Kadeau going from one to two stars.

The Michelin event caps an exciting few days for food enthusiasts in Copenhagen. Four-time No.1 in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, Noma opened its new restaurant Noma 2.0 just last week. The new restaurant is located on Copenhagen’s inner island Refshaleøen, which is also set to welcome a new street food market later in the year.
